Choose the resource before changing the restaurant
Money & Coins
Recruitment coins and the restaurant's berry balance in ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet answer different questions. Choose the coin guide if a poster or Request needs anchor coins; use the cash guide if the current balance cannot cover closing costs.
Which resource is missing?
- Recruitment coins: compare the cost icon, check new-dish and Wish rewards, and distinguish Requests that spend coins.
- Current cash: compare the balance, recent spending and displayed closing deduction. Cumulative Sales are not the spendable balance.
When this guide is the right route
Use the cash guide if Sales appear higher than Upkeep but the available balance still falls below zero. It gives a narrow reconciliation procedure based on a named Steam explanation and separates it from an unconfirmed bug report.
Write down the balance before closing, the deductions displayed and recent spending. If those figures do not reconcile, keep the evidence and platform/version for support; the page does not claim every negative-balance case has the same cause.
Food improvements answer a different question
Cooking & Menus covers creating dishes, raising their levels and opening additional set-menu capacity. Those are useful restaurant tasks, but they are not a substitute for explaining an already-missing balance.
Keep the current-cash check separate from estimates of future earnings. Start with the actual figures; this guide supplies neither a universal profit formula nor a guaranteed best-price strategy.
What is blocking you?
Why cash can go negative when Sales exceed Upkeep
Compare current cash, daily Sales and closing costs in Grand Gourmet. One player's spending-timing report offers a check, not a universal fix.
