How to train the crew with Zoro

The short answer

In ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet, recruit Zoro, complete his break-room request and place the room. Select it to open training, choose the crew members and check the resource preview. Exploration supplies training points; joint training also uses hearts obtained from satisfied customers.

A destination can be accessible while a particular encounter or discovery still needs a higher level. Training addresses that displayed requirement. It does not replace a missing companion, customer or poster condition.

Open Zoro's training screen

  1. Finish Zoro's recruitment in the opening sea. Finding him and assigning a Server are different actions.
  2. Follow Zoro's break-room request and place the awarded room in the restaurant.
  3. Select the room and choose a training session. Inspect the selected members, resource requirements and any unavailable options.
  4. Start an affordable session, then check the resulting member levels before trying the blocked destination again.

Match the missing resource to the activity

  • Training points: send expeditions and inspect their returns. Gamecap identifies exploration as the source for points spent in Zoro's training.
  • Hearts for joint training: keep serving customers and satisfying their needs. Check the actual session's heart cost before starting.
  • More crew combinations: reopen training after recruiting another Straw Hat. Do not assume an option is broken because it was absent with a smaller crew.

If an expedition still says the level is too low

Compare the destination's requirement with the members you actually selected for that expedition. Training someone who is not on the relevant trip may leave the displayed obstacle unchanged.

If the destination names a specific companion or another prerequisite, follow that condition too. A higher level does not prove that every reward there is now available. Check the result panel rather than assuming a failed encounter means the location has nothing left.

✓ How to check the result

The chosen training session completes and the intended crew member's level changes. For a blocked expedition, the useful follow-up is whether its displayed level requirement is now met.
