Does Grand Gourmet support multiplayer or co-op?
The short answer
ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet is specified for one player. The publisher lists Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Steam, App Store and Google Play with that player count, and Steam separately labels its edition Single-player. Under those current specifications, there is no supported local co-op, online co-op or cross-play mode to switch on.
If you want to run the restaurant with a friend, check the human player count before choosing an edition. Working alongside the Straw Hat crew describes the game's characters, not another person joining your session.

Which editions does the one-player specification cover?
The official platform list reviewed here does not include PS5 or Xbox. It does not establish a version or multiplayer option for either console. A PC edition name also matters: do not substitute another storefront's features for the edition you are checking.
- Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch: both appear in the publisher's supported-platform list with a player count of one. The comparison table also identifies Switch Lite within the Switch group.
- Steam on PC: the publisher includes Steam in that specification, and the Steam Store's Features block independently states Single-player.
- App Store and Google Play: the publisher lists these mobile editions under the same one-player specification, with iOS/Android identified in its comparison table. This is mobile evidence from the publisher, rather than a conclusion drawn only from Steam.
A crew roster and Cloud saves do not add co-op
The game's restaurant staff and visiting ONE PIECE characters are part of its management simulation. More characters, staff roles or restaurant seats do not change the published human player count.
Steam Cloud is listed separately from Single-player. Save synchronization and cross-save concern progress data; cross-play concerns people playing together across platforms. Cloud support does not provide a second-player join option. For moving progress between editions, use the separate save-transfer guide.
Check before planning a session with a friend
- Identify the exact edition and storefront on each device: Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Steam, App Store or Google Play.
- Read its current official player-count or Features block. On Steam, use the declared Single-player feature rather than treating a community tag or a large character roster as evidence of co-op.
- If the intended activity requires two people in the same restaurant session, the reviewed one-player specification does not supply that mode. There is no supported cross-play setup to enable between those single-player editions.
- If a later official update or store description announces a different player count, compare that exact edition and version before following setup instructions. If your actual question is whether a save moves to another device, follow the save-transfer route instead.
✓ How to check the result
You can identify your edition's published one-player limit and distinguish playing together from moving a save. A working Cloud save or an additional in-game crew member is not a successful co-op connection.
