How to check and earn the coins used for recruitment

The short answer

In ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet, new dishes and fulfilled Wishes are documented coin sources. Some Requests and recruitment searches spend coins instead. Check the displayed cost and reward rather than assuming every customer interaction earns currency or that Sales can pay a coin charge.

A healthy restaurant balance does not prove you can pay an anchor-coin recruitment cost. Coins and the berry balance are separate resources in the English opening walkthrough. Start with the icon on the action you want to complete.

Identify the resource before spending

  1. Open the blocked recruitment or request and read its cost icon, amount and current balance.
  2. Distinguish the anchor-coin balance from berries and from cumulative Sales. Note how many coins the actual confirmation requires.
  3. Inspect a customer entry's conditions and reward before accepting. A Request can consume coins to unlock a customer or activity; its presence is not evidence of a coin payout.

Check the reward after developing a new dish

The sources do not establish an endlessly repeatable reward for making the same dish, an optimal farming recipe or a fixed coins-per-minute rate. Check the result of the new dish you actually completed.

  1. Choose a new dish you can develop with an available character idea, recipe and ingredient.
  2. Complete development and the tasting sequence. Game8 describes a coin bonus after that sequence; Into Indie Games also identifies new dishes as a coin source.
  3. Read the reward and compare the coin balance before trying the blocked action again. Do not treat a price or Reputation increase as the coin award.

Separate Wishes that reward you from Requests that cost coins

Inspect the customer's profile and Wishes information to find what they want to do. Follow the particular condition, then check the resulting reward. Both reviewed guides identify fulfilled Wishes as a possible coin source.

Requests, Fan Conditions and Fan Wishes are distinct entries in the English walkthrough. Menu-parent wording differs between sources, so follow the named tab and customer details rather than a guessed universal button path. Read the cost and reward for each interaction.

Inspect the achievement list without assuming every stamp pays

Game8 also lists achievement/stamp-list completion and newly visiting characters as coin sources. Check your list's unmet conditions and displayed rewards before choosing the next task.

This does not solve Steam's achievement #77 report: that player says the 800-Reputation stamp remains incomplete despite a higher counter, with no reply confirming a fix. If a condition appears met but no award arrives, preserve the list, counters and version; do not promise a reward or invent a reset.

✓ How to check the result

A displayed reward increases the coin balance, and the intended recruitment or request becomes affordable with the correct icon. A higher berry balance alone is not this result.
