Crew recruitment · Marco / Marineford
How to find Jinbe after placing his poster
The short answer
Jinbe's information in ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet comes from Marco in the fourth sea. Discover Marco at Marineford and complete his request for a Lv99-or-higher sweets-type Set Menu. With Jinbe's Poster displayed, Marco must then visit and provide the information. Select the poster and pay the displayed coin cost to finish recruiting Jinbe.
This answers the launch-player case where Jinbe's Poster was already displayed but no useful information arrived. Hanging the poster does not complete Marco's own customer-unlock request.

Discover Marco and complete his meal request
- Progress to the fourth sea and continue until Jinbe's Poster is available. Place it in the restaurant.
- Explore Marineford and check the expedition result for Marco. If the encounter is blocked, inspect the level or party requirements shown in your game.
- Open Everyone's Requests and inspect Marco's newly available request. Both reviewed Japanese guides identify a Lv99-or-higher sweets-type Set Menu as the requirement.
- Prepare a qualifying set and complete the request through its own details screen. Check for the fulfilled request or Marco reward rather than assuming that simply putting food on the restaurant menu submitted it.
Check food type and level separately
The requirement is a food category and a level. It does not mean Tastiness 99, and a dessert in a side slot does not by itself establish that the whole set meets the sweets-type requirement. Compare the actual request with the main dish's type and level.
For a request that checks a set's dish level, Nanoblog directs players to raise its main dish. Selling the dish gradually raises levels; Robin's break room provides an ingredient-based improvement route after it is unlocked. Normal ingredients reaching Lv99 can meet a 99 requirement; Rare Ingredients are relevant when a later request needs more than 99.
Return to the poster after Marco becomes a customer
- Keep Jinbe's Poster displayed while restaurant service continues and Marco visits.
- When information reveals Jinbe's location, select the poster and review the required coins.
- Complete that action and follow the encounter until Jinbe joins. This is separate from assigning ordinary customers as staff.
If Marco still does not arrive
- Discovery alone: check whether his meal request is actually marked fulfilled.
- Request refused: compare the requested food class and main-dish level, not the set's price or Tastiness.
- Request fulfilled, no visit: inspect available seating. Game8 suggests too few tables can delay necessary visitors; it does not establish a required table count or guaranteed refresh method.
- Marco has visited, no Jinbe: confirm the poster remains displayed and whether its coin action is waiting. If the sequence still differs, record platform, version and the request/poster screens instead of repeatedly buying unrelated furniture.
✓ How to check the result
Marco's customer request is completed, Jinbe's location information appears, and the final poster action results in Jinbe joining the crew. These are three separate checkpoints.
