Find the Windows save folder and keep a separate backup
The short answer
For ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet on Windows, open %LOCALAPPDATA%\OPGG\saves\ and look for the folder matching the relevant Steam account's 64-bit SteamID. This path comes from the game's Steam Cloud configuration, as displayed by SteamDB.
Exit the game, then copy the relevant account folder to a separate backup location. Steam Cloud support does not guarantee that an older, missing or overwritten save is available to recover.
Before experimenting with a missing or faulty save, keep a separate copy of the local files you still have. Grand Gourmet's published Steam Cloud configuration points to an account-specific folder under Windows Local AppData.
This is a guide to the configured path and the publisher's general support advice. We have not verified a restoration in an installed copy of the game.

Locate the configured folder and copy it
SteamDB labels the location as inferred from the application's Cloud configuration. Its record uses WinAppDataLocal, the path OPGG/saves/{64BitSteamID}, and a wildcard file pattern. It does not identify a single save filename or prove that every installation has already created that folder.
If the folder is missing, check the Windows account and the edition you are using. Stop at that discrepancy; creating an empty replacement file will not recreate progress. This guide has not verified an alternate location or a Steam Deck/Proton prefix.
- Use this procedure for the Windows Steam edition. Finish your current session and close the game before handling its save files.
- Open Windows File Explorer. Enter %LOCALAPPDATA%\OPGG\saves\ in its address bar and press Enter.
- Look for the account directory matching the Steam account whose save you want to preserve. The configured complete path is %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\OPGG\saves\{64BitSteamID}.
- Copy that whole account directory to a separate, clearly named location outside the active saves folder. Keep the original files in place.
- Open the backup directory and check that the copied files are present. Keep this copy separate while you investigate the problem.
One published save slot is not a backup history
The publisher's current Japanese specification table lists one save-data slot for Steam and each other listed platform group. Keep a separate copy before experimenting with progress; a published slot count does not establish an automatic rollback history or a tested recovery procedure.
This clarifies the slot count only. The configured Windows directory below, Steam Cloud synchronization and cross-store save transfer remain different questions. Do not overwrite an existing file just to test whether another slot exists.
What the official Cloud advice can establish
The Steam edition advertises Steam Cloud. Bandai Namco's general Steam FAQ explains that supported games can back up save data and other user data to Steam's servers.
The publisher also describes a possible recovery attempt: enable Cloud synchronization, move local saves elsewhere, then launch through Steam to see whether server data returns. Its wording is conditional. It does not confirm that your missing progress exists on the server, or provide a Grand Gourmet recovery success report.
Preserve a separate copy before considering that official procedure. If you do not know which copy contains the progress you need, stop before replacing or clearing the active files and ask Steam or publisher support. A synchronized file and a history of earlier saves are different capabilities; this research has not established an automatic rollback feature.
If the game cannot create a save
For a saving failure, the publisher's general Steam FAQ suggests completely exiting the Steam client, opening Steam as administrator, and checking whether the game can save. The FAQ distinguishes a full exit through the taskbar/system-tray Steam menu from merely closing the client window.
Treat this as an attributed diagnostic attempt. If saving still fails, keep the backup and report the symptom, Windows version and game version through the official support form. This is not evidence that administrator mode repairs an already lost save.
✓ How to check the result
You located the configured account folder and verified that a separate copy contains its files.
If you are troubleshooting saving, judge the result by whether the game actually creates and reloads the intended progress. The presence of a folder alone does not prove a repair.
